Kids don’t know squat about logical fallacies

If you’ve been around since the eighties, then you probably remember watching this commercial when you were a kid. And if you do, then chances are you also remember the day when you realized that the dirtbags at Tonka had been making a fool out of you.

“Wow!” you’d say to yourself as a kid. “That must be one tough truck! I mean, they pushed that little plastic truck off a cliff, and then they ran a real live truck off the cliff next to it, and the real truck got smashed but the toy truck’s still going! Because that’s the same!”

Damn it, Tonka! This is just like the time all my friends found out that I thought Philadelphia and Bel Air were just a cab ride away from each other!
