Registration is open for this year’s AIDS Walk for Life (and I’m already on board and looking for sponsors)

Registration for the 2012 AIDS Walk for Life opened today. The annual event is sponsored by Scotiabank, and the local walk benefits the AIDS Committee of Toronto. I’ve registered, and I would really appreciate your sponsorship.

This will be the fourth time I’ve done the walk. I’m grateful for the support I’ve received each year, and I’m glad to say that we raised hundreds of dollars in 20092010 and 2011. I’ve set a goal of $1,000 this year; I tried and failed to hit that total last year, so I thought I’d give it another shot.

Please take a moment to visit my sponsorship page and make a donation. Every amount gets us closer to the goal, and if you’re able to spread the word, then so much the better. You can also visit the event page and register to take part yourself, either as an individual or a member or a team.

Thanks, everyone! The walk will be held on Sunday, 23 September 2012, and I’ll be sure to post regular updates on this site until the big day arrives. Stay tuned!
