It’s a royal pain in the ass

“I’m really glad we actually got to be in England during the birth of the royal baby,” my wife said this morning.

“Really?” I replied. My wife misses the UK from time to time, but she’s no fan of the monarchy, let alone a news cycle flooded with one of their babies.

“That’s why it’s such a relief,” she said. “Nobody around here assumes I give a shit just because I’m English.”
