Happy New Year

Matt — Sun, 01 Jan 2012 16:05:52 +0000

Good morning! It’s been a long time since I’ve done much of anything with this site, and I think it’s time for that to change. The year ahead is going to be a big one, and I hope to spend more of it writing and blogging – not just here, but also on plenty of other sites, and maybe even in print for old times’ sake.

Stay tuned to this site for updates and details throughout the week. In the meantime, happy new year!

Please update your feed settings

Moving this site from one platform to another has meant that I’ve had to change my RSS feed address. If you’ve subscribed to this blog, then the feed address you’ve been using will no longer work for you.

Please use this address from this point forward. Thanks!

A new platform, a new look, and a lot of work to do

Matt — Fri, 15 Apr 2011 16:22:06 +0000

As promised, I’ve just migrated my blog from Textpattern to WordPress. After spending a few days searching fruitlessly through tutorials and what not, I found a plugin that made the whole process relatively easy.

There’s quite a lot to do in order to get the site to where I’d like it to be, and certain things are likely to be a bit of a mess in the meantime. For now, though, we’re off to a good start. All of the old content seems to have been imported, and the permalinks for each post should be the same as they were under Textpattern.

Stay tuned for more! I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what I’ve updated from day to day. In the meantime, thanks for visiting!
