It’s all fine and good for people in Toronto to say that they’re never going to vote for Harper’s Conservatives again because of the G20, for example – but we’ve never really voted for them anyway, so it doesn’t make much of a difference.

I think it’s going to take issues like the current census measures, which have alarmed many Conservatives as well as opposition members, to do some real damage to the administration. Harper runs a tight ship and tolerates little dissent, so it won’t happen overnight.

I keep waking up and hoping the Progressive Conservatives take over the party. And I mean, in High School the thought of the PCs running anything would probably make me crazy, but at this point, i’m all, “let’s make this happen, people!” I suspect you could have WTF TORY run forever and ever. I don’t even post most of the stuff I come across, because I think it might be too overwhelming.
