It&#8217;s sandwiched between Wards 29 and 31, which both voted anyone-but-Ford in the election (he did win a plurality in the latter, but was bested by Smitherman in the former). In 29, you&#8217;ve got Mary Fragedakis, Jack Layton&#8217;s anointed candidate; in 31, you&#8217;ve got Janet Davis, one of the so-called left-wing pinkos who donned pink garb in protest of Don Cherry&#8217;s speech. &lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;Besides, the venue isn&#8217;t inappropriate, given its status as a former headquarters for municipal politics, and it&#8217;s close enough for each us to wander over and heckle.&lt;/p&gt;
