Everyone’s a DJ’s first all ages benefit

I promised you big news from the Everyone’s a DJ camp, and now I’m glad to be able to share it. On Sunday, 19 July 2009, we’ll be hosting our first all ages event at Whippersnapper Gallery from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM. All proceeds will benefit East Metro Youth Services, a community based children’s mental health centre that has been serving young people and their families in the Scarborough area for over thirty-five years.

As always, we’ll be featuring a wide range of new and experienced DJs, including some of the kids from the EMYS community. A workshop will be provided to the DJs before the event by members of Toronto’s Off Centre DJ School, who are graciously volunteering their time.

This is going to be a great day for an awesome cause, and we need all the help we can get to make it as big an event as possible. Please spread the word, get your people excited, and join us on the nineteenth for what’s sure to be a great one!
