It’s Friday, so here’s the video for “Female of the Species” by Space

I’m taking a cue from my friend Ram on this one; he posted this video on his own site a couple of weeks ago. It’s a fun time capsule, and it still holds up as a track. Thanks, Ram!

It’s been a little while since I’ve done any regular DJing of my own, aside from Everyone’s a DJ and stuff like that. But I can tell you that even years after it was released, this track worked every time. There was always someone at the club who hadn’t heard it in years and loved it. It never hurts to have a few of those tracks in your crate.

Also, according to the related video sidebar, Space had a slew of other singles! Who knew? English record buyers at the time, I suppose!
