Link of the Day: Book Ends

Yesterday morning, I used this space to tell you all about the Metro Toronto Movement for Literacy. I promised it would be one of a number of organizations and programs I’d mention here who are doing great work for the cause of literacy in Toronto. Well, the Book Ends program at the Toronto Public Library is another great example.

Do check it out. Strong Words has been doing its small part to support the program by collecting new and used books in resale condition at each reading, and passing them on to the library. Do feel free to donate if you’ve got books you can stand to get rid of – or if you’d prefer to cut out the middleman, haul them down to the library directly.
