Vazaleen remembers Will Munro at Wrongbar
As you may already know by now, Toronto artist, DJ and queer icon Will Munro passed away in May following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was thirty-five, and he’ll be missed by the great many people who got to feel his impact on the city and its culture throughout the years.
If you’re one of those people, then you might want to check out the memorial edition of Vazaleen that’s being held on the Fourth of July at Wrongbar. Not only is it bound to be a great night, and one of Pride Week’s hottest parties, but proceeds will also benefit the memorial fund for queer people living with cancer that’s been established in Will’s name.
If you’ll be in town, be sure to check it out. Failing that, you can also donate to the fund online through CanadaHelps and the 519 Church Street Community Centre.
