Link of the Day: Brainwashed

If you’re into weird and unconventional music, then there’s always something interesting to read at Brainwashed. Back in the days before it was expected that any band worthy of your attention would have its own website, Brainwashed used to be the best – and often only – source of legitimate information on all kinds of artists. Meat Beat Manifesto used to have an “official” site on Brainwashed by default, and so did a number of other artists.

These days, of course, Brainwashed is more of a music blog. But in its time, it’s also grown to include an offshot label and a streaming radio service. They also produce a podcast, which I haven’t had the opportunity to check out yet, but I’m looking forward to it. All in all, it’s quite an operation.
