Guru tribute and Cancer Society benefit tonight at Sneaky Dee’s

Rapper and hip hop icon Guru would have celebrated his forty-ninth birthday today. In tribute to the late artist, and in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, there’s a whole slew of great acts heading down to Sneaky Dee’s tonight to do a tribute show.

DJ Serious will be there. KaeWonder will be there. D-Sisive will be there. Grand Analog will be there. Wordburglar will be there. So will a wide range of special guests and artists to be announced, and they’ll be doing nothing but Gang Starr and Jazzmatazz material.

I won’t be able to make it, but I encourage you to check it out. It’s bound to be a hell of a show, and it’s all for a great cause to boot.
