The triumphant return of Righteous Melody (sort of)
Back in April, somewhere toward the end of a month-long story arc, I suddenly stopped writing Righteous Melody, the web comic I’d been publishing three times a week using blank panels drawn by my brother. If you were reading along at the time, and you guessed that the strips had suddenly stopped because Kate and I had just bought a house and we were about to get busy planning a wedding, then you mainly would have been right.
But the whole story is seldom that simple. And judging by today’s new strip, which is the first I’ve published in nearly nine months, the hiatus also had at least something to do with a sudden, unexplained trip to a parallel universe.
As the strip itself suggests, we’re not all the way back yet; I’m afraid there isn’t going to be another new strip until two weeks from today. I’ll be working on some back story and site design in the meantime – not to mention tackling some other projects, going to work, and so forth. But sooner rather than later, you’re once again going to see new Righteous Melody strips on a regular basis.
Hooray! Tell your friends! I’m also hoping to get a feed going within the near future, along with some other site features I’ve been meaning to tackle for far too long. Stay tuned for all this and more.
