Will tonight’s edition of Gong the Show pit boyfriend against girlfriend?

Tonight’s edition of Gong the Show, which will be hosted as always at Comedy Bar, pits new champion Jocelyn Geddie against a wide variety of contenders.

One of those contenders is my brother, Jon Blair. Not only is Jon a former Gong the Show champion, and a fellow member of Jocelyn’s sketch troupe, but he also happens to be Jocelyn’s boyfriend.

Oh, my God, right? What if the two of them end up squaring off in the final round? Can you imagine the awkward tension of it all? Kate and I will be there, and I hope you will too. As our cousin Tara noted, “this is the only scenario where beating one’s girlfriend is acceptable.”
