Good news for the clumsy and caffeinated

Did you know that if you buy a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons, and then you absolutely drop it as you’re on the way out of the building and it goes all over the place, and you take your empty cup back to the register and mumble something about buying another cup of coffee, they’ll just give it to you for free?

That’s what happened at the Tim Hortons on my block today, at least. And in a way, in made my morning. Although to be fair, I wouldn’t want to push it; if I’d dropped that cup as well and asked for a third, I don’t think it would have gone over very well.

I wonder if the TTC will give me a new Metropass to replace the one I seem to have lost for the second month in a row.
