Geoengineering moratorium: ETC Group scores a major victory

Remember when I told you about ETC Group and their campaign against geoengineering? Well, according to a recent release, the UN Convention on Biological Diversity has just declared a de facto moratorium on geoengineering projects and experiments.

A spokesperson for ETC Group called the decision “a huge and important step forward in protecting our home planet from the threat of geoengineering experiments.” The war isn’t over, but it looks as if a significant battle has been won. Congratulations, guys!
