Election Hangover Party and “Local Motion” launch tonight at Lula Lounge

As you may have already heard, the good people over at Coach House Books are hosting an Election Hangover Party at Lula Lounge tonight at 7:00 PM. The event will double as a book launch for Local Motion, which is the final installment of Coach House’s amazing uTOpia series of books.

The event will feature a live 2010 election roundtable, which will include contributors Desmond Cole, Kelly Grant, Che Kothari, Jennifer Lewington, and Mike Smith. The discussion will apparently be followed by a one-minute open mic soapbox, so be sure to bring your civic gripes.

Hope to see you there! Lula Lounge is at 1585 Dundas Street West, deep in the heart of the part of Toronto where everyone who didn’t vote for Rob Ford apparently lives. Admission is $5.00, or free if you buy the book. You are going to buy the book, right?
