Inertia (the good kind)

I’ve been exercising more than usual lately. I’ve also been eating better, and I’m cutting back on my drinking to boot. I’m even sleeping a little more, if you can believe it.

You know what I’ve discovered? The more you exercise, the easier it gets. The more and the better you eat, the more you want to keep up the habit. The less you drink, the less you want to drink. And the more you do all of those things together, the more natural your sleep cycle becomes. What a startling set of revelations that everyone else already probably knew!

I might be digging a hole for myself by saying this. For all I know, I could spent tomorrow laying around eating garbage and getting hammered. But for now, the new routine is working, and I think I’m going to try and keep it up.
