Time is money (sort of)

I’m generally pretty good at handling money. I spend modestly, I save responsibly, and I don’t tend to go into debt. I’m not all that great at math, let alone accounting, but I recognize that money is a finite resource and I’m pretty good at treating it that way. I just wish I could learn to do a better job of treating my time that way.

At busy times like these, with a month of strict deadlines ahead and a move to follow, I tend to get pretty sensitive to the ways in which I could improve my time management. Taking on fewer commitments would be a big plus, and so would learning to delegate more of the work I do set in motion. There’s also a lot to be said for cutting out a lot of the procrastination.

These are all things I ought to put some work into, and I’ll be tackling all three over the course of the next few weeks. It’s worth making the time for, don’t you think?
