More like “Self-Righteous Melody,” right?

Today’s edition of Righteous Melody draws from an actual recent monologue by comedian and jerk Bill Maher. Rather than spell the whole thing out again, I’m going to ask you to read the comic and check out the clip. Many thanks as always to Crooks and Liars for their (hopefully only temporarily nonfunctional) footage.

As long as you’re on Crooks and Liars, you may be able to watch this recent excerpt from one of Maher’s standup routines, in which he speaks out on the movement’s apparent nostalgia for the 1950s. I haven’t been able to watch it yet, but I’m happy to link to it for what it’s worth.
