In which I finally come through on a promise I made to my brother a year ago today

Early this morning, with a little help from my little brother, I imported the contents of his blog to a new WordPress site at jonblair.ca. It’s still in its early stages, and you’ll see the standard “just another WordPress weblog” template if you visit at the time of this writing. But it’s an overdue step in the right direction.

How overdue? Well, whenever I finally follow through on a pledge I’ve made on this site, I like to go back and link to the original post for the sake of continuity. And in this case, do you know how long ago I posted the pledge in question?

A year ago, guys. A year ago today.

It’s an interesting coincidence, sure, but it’s also a great source of shame. My brother and I have both had busy years, but it shouldn’t have taken three hundred and sixty-five days to do a job that I was able to accomplish in minutes this morning before rushing off to work. Sorry about that, Jon!

At least I was able to come through on my promise to bring you all news of a site created in honour of my sister. And to be fair, I didn’t have much of anything to do with that, beyond providing her the space.
