It’s Friday, so here’s the video for “Making Plans for Nigel” by XTC

A classic track from Drums and Wires, the third XTC album. It was released in 1979, just a few weeks before I was worn.

“Making Plans for Nigel” is notable for being written by bassist Colin Moulding, as opposed to his more prolific bandmate Andy Partridge. Although he wrote fewer songs, he wrote more of the band’s early hits.
