Link of the Day: dlvr.it

There’s a good chance that you’re reading this post because you clicked a link provided by dlvr.it, an auto-publishing service that posts updates on Twitter and Facebook accounts whenever I post on this site. I’ve only been using it for a few days, but so far, I’m impressed.

I’d been using Twitterfeed to do much the same job, but I’d been finding it increasingly unreliable. It was relatively slow to check feeds, and there was no telling which posts would generate alerts and which ones wouldn’t. When I mentioned that I was having some trouble with the service, my friend Ron was kind enough to suggest that I try dlvr.it instead.

Thanks, Ron! It seems to be doing a much better job so far, and it comes with a few extra features that might prove useful. Not only that, but the dlvr.it team was quick to get in touch through Twitter and offer their support – which was clearly just because they’ve got a search alert set up for “Twitterfeed” to catch dissatisfied users, but you’ve still got to appreciate their dedication to friendly service.
