Kate’s a finalist in the CBC Literary Awards

A little while back, I mentioned that Kate had some big news, but she wasn’t able to share it because it hadn’t yet been made public. Now that it has, I’m happy to be among the first to publicly congratulate her.

The CBC Literary Awards have been offered annually since 1979. The list of past winners is impressive and extensive, as you can see. For one thing, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t recognize our good friend Tanis Rideout among the 2009 winners.

The shortlist will be announced on Monday, 28 February 2011. Join me in keeping your fingers crossed for Kate!
