It’s the “annual reports, voting rights, invitations to the annual shareholder meetings” that tend to catch the ears of activists, progressives, and anyone interesting in effecting change within a certain company or industry. Buying shares in a company gives you a certain level of access to that company, much as having a vote gives you a certain level of access to your government. Why not give it some thought?
