Thinking ahead to July on a quiet June night

Yesterday I mentioned that Everyone’s a DJ needs some new blood to get it back on track, instead of just depending on me. Today I had to cancel this month’s party at the last minute. Scheduling conflicts, technical issues and dad duty kept us from doing it right this month, and I hope we’ll see tonight’s DJs and guests when we bring it back in July.

In the meantime, we’re starting to build the kind of team it’s going to take to do this night right. Some really talented volunteers are coming out of the woodwork lately, and I’m going to do the best I can to start bringing people together and getting things organized this month.
