Learn all about local voting reform tonight at RaBIT’s public information night

The good people at RaBIT, more wordily known as the Ranked Ballot Initiative of Toronto, are hosting a public information night tonight at 7:00 PM at the School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Toronto.

“Why are ranked ballots so marvelous?” the initiative asks. “How can runoff voting transform your life? The answers to these questions, and much more, will be revealed at this event.” It will also be a great opportunity to formally get involved in the campaign, which I highly recommend.

I’ll be there, assuming I can recruit a babysitter in time. Hope to see you there! Check out RaBIT’s event listing on Facebook for all the details, and check out this editorial in the Toronto Star for a bit of background.
