Help fill a truck for the Canadian Diabetes Association this long weekend
On Saturday, 18 May 2013, the Canadian Diabetes Association is asking Canadians in seventy communities across the country to make a donation through its Clothesline program. As part of their third annual “Fill a Truck” event, Clothesline hopes to collect one million kilograms of used clothing and goods, with all proceeds to benefit the association and its vital research and programs.
You can visit diabetes.ca/fillatruck to learn more, and to find a community event near you. Every qualified donation will enter donors into a draw for a trip for two to London, England. You can also support Clothesline throughout the year, and contribute to the more than 46 million kilograms of clothing and household items they divert from landfills each year for a good cause.
