Link of the Day: The Veterans Site

The good people who run the Hunger Site have added a new fundraising page to their repertoire. Like the others, the Veterans Site operates on a very simple premise: click a button once a day, and for every click, the site’s sponsors will pay for meals for homeless and hungry veterans.

It’s an American site, from the look of it, but that’s hardly a reason for Canadians and visitors from other parts of the world not to click. It’s a means of “supporting the troops” in a way that’s actually simple, meaningful and effective.
