Link of the Day: Diabetes Summer Surge

The Diabetes Summer Surge is a campaign created by the Canadian Diabetes Association, a terrific organization dedicated to helping Canadian diabetics live healthy lives and working toward a cure.

“Host or support an event between June 20th and September 15th and raise funds and awareness for the Diabetes Summer Surge campaign. Involve your family, friends and other networks this summer and give hope for a cure to the over 9 million Canadians living with diabetes and prediabetes.”

If you’re up for it, check the website for details on getting started. The site also features plenty of tips and resources for those who want to get involved. If you prefer, you can support one of any number of existing participants.
