These are the twelve NDP MPs who voted with the Conservatives in November to scrap the gun registry
The Canadian Auto Workers are campaigning to preserve the gun registry. As such, they’ve added a page to their website that’s full of useful information – including the names, ridings, numbers and email addresses of the twelve NDP MPs who voted in allegiance with the Conservatives on the second reading of Bill C-391.

Write to these MPs and ask them, politely but firmly, to vote to preserve the gun registry. Write to Jack Layton and ask him to crack the whip. Spread this information around and encourage your friends and loved ones to do the same. Check out the CAW page to learn more about what you can do. Oh, and stay tuned to this site for more information.

Matt – good messaging (I sent a link to your blog to my MP Carol Hughes to bring it to her attention).
Ms. Hughes is already having second thoughts – I believe! Along with Glenn Thibeault – she would really pay attention if the Steelworkers Union – which represents much of organized labour in the North (mining etc. especially in and around Sudbury) joined their CAW brothers and sisters in this.
Hey, thank you both! Great to hear from you – and great to know that we’re seeing a response from these MPs, and that it’s starting to make a difference.
Kim, thanks as well for the Facebook link. I’ll be sure to join ASAP and spread the word later today. Much obliged!
