Look who thinks he’s so smart

Remember back in June, when I mentioned that it might be fun to try and get into Mensa? Well, a few weeks ago, I actually took the test. Just to see if I could do it, you know?

I didn’t mention it at the time, because frankly, I didn’t think I’d done that well. The results take a few weeks to come in the mail, and I didn’t want to make a big deal out of throwing my hat in the ring, since it might mean I’d have to come back at a later date and tell you all I hadn’t gotten in.

But lo and behold, I got in. The results arrived in the mail on Monday. All right!

I’ve really got no idea what to do from here. They gave me a card that I guess I’m supposed to carry around in my wallet, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. What if I get in an accident, and that’s the first piece of identification they pull out of my pocket? “Not smart enough to avoid getting hit by a bus,” they’ll say.
