Published today: A letter to my unborn kid on Canadian Parents

A few weeks ago, the good people at Canadian Parents invited me to do a little blogging for them. They pitched the idea of writing a letter to my unborn kid, and I have to admit that I had a lot of fun with it. Here’s the result.

Ironically, the day Canadian Parents chose to publish a piece about my unborn son was also the very day we had an ultrasound that suggested we’re actually having a daughter. If I get to do more writing for this site – and if all goes well, I will, despite the fact that I’m not yet a Canadian Parent – I think I’d better start with an apology to my unborn daughter.

” I read it all in a Bill Cosby voice,” my friend Peter said afterward. “I was supposed to do that, right?”

    BILL COSBY VOICE AHAHAHA!

I don’t know what it says about my writing that this is actually nowhere near the most flagrant Bill Cosby ripoff I’ve written. Frankly, I’m not sure I’d want to know.
